The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has resorted to wearing clothes that have significant meaning to the messages in his COVID-19 updates as most Ghanaian wax prints (cloths) have names.
This was not different in his 12th COVID-19 update address.
President Akufo-Addo during his 12th address to the nation outlined measures taken against the spread of coronavirus in the country.
To complement his message, the President wore a cloth that passed a similar message.
The president’s cloth means “Nkrumah Pencil”
At a previous address, the cloth he wore also meant “What is lost is lost, the rest must be safeguarded, protected and reserved”.
