The Amasaman Court has remanded Eleven Wonders defender Mohammed Amin Adams and Ernest Amo, the team manager of Techiman Eleven Wonders for assaulting referee Eric Sefa Antwi on Saturday.
The duo allegedly assaulted the referee in the Ghana Premier League match week six game between Eleven Wonders and Accra Lions which came off on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Eleven Wonders lost the game by a lone goal.
The game was initially halted for about 15 minutes after the incident before the game had to restart.
The Wonders defender and technical team member were later arrested after the game and appeared in court on Monday.
They have been remanded for two weeks after allegedly assaulting the referee.
Although they pleaded not guilty to charges leveled against them, the judge who sat on the case threw them to remand and will reappear in court two weeks time.
Superintendent Freeman Kumashie from the Greater Accra Police Command who led the security officers on Saturday arrested them and they spent two days in police cells before they were sent to court on Monday.
Ghana Football Association is yet to release an official statement in the incident.
