The Honourable Deputy Minister of Information, Pius Enam Hadzide,has advised that whilst we engage in a national fasting and prayers, people should not crowd and pray.
In an interview on the Happy Morning aired on Happy 98.9FM,he said: “What will happen today around Ghana is praying to God. But we are doing so individually.

We are not putting our duties aside. We have the faith that God will listen to us. We discourage two or more people meeting to pray. Lets all do it individually”.
He assured that the President, Ministers and all those working at the office of the president will join in the event but will do so individually.
In an address to the nation on Saturday, the President declared Wednesday, 25th March, 2020 as a National Day of Fasting and Prayers as part of the ongoing measures to fight Coronavirus in the country.

He urged people of all religious background across the country to participate.
