The Disease Surveillance Department of the Ghana Health Service has confirmed that 31 out of the total number of 152 coronavirus patients have recovered.
A total number of 121 patients are therefore remaining, and reports have it that they are actively responding to treatment.
Yesterday, Monday, March 30, 2020, just one case of coronavirus was confirmed.
This involved a doctor with the LEKMA Hospital in Teshie, Accra. Meanwhile, parts of Accra, Kasoa, and Kumasi are observing a lockdown for two weeks at the orders of President Akufo-Addo.
The measure is to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus which has plagued Ghana and almost all parts of the world.
Security agencies have been deployed to various areas to ensure that the lockdown rules are enforced.
