Coronavirus: Ghana’s AFCON qualifier against Sudan to be played behind closed doors

Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan is likely to be played behind closed doors, Happy Sports understands.

There has been talks between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ghana Football Association on the possibility of playing the Sudan game at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium behind closed doors.

General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, Black Stars management committee chairman George Amoako and co-coordinator for the various national teams Alex Asante attended the meeting.

Happy Sports understands the Sports Ministry has directed the Ghana Football Association to write to CAF on playing the game behind closed doors.
