Ghana Premier League side, Berekum Chelsea football club has joined the campaign to fight against the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The team donated boxes of hand sanitizers and gloves to residents of Berekum as part of efforts to safeguard the people and their teaming supporters from the Covid-19.
Happy Sports understands that about 2000 hand sanitizers and gloves were given out to residents during this exercise.

Speaking to Happy FM after the donation, President of Berekum Chelsea Obed Nana Nketiah said “As part of the our social corporate responsibility we are also giving back to the society.
“We need our supporters to stay alive so they can support us when the league returns”.
The Ghana Premier League has been suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Ghana has recorded 132 cases with three people confirmed dead.
