Inter Allies Technical Director, Willie Klutse, has questioned the exclusion of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Technical Director, Bernhard Lippert from the committee mandated to select a new Black Stars coach in the next 72 hours.
The GFA Executive Council named a three-member committee led by Vice President Mark Addo to select a new coach after Charles Kwabla Akonnor and his deputies were sacked on Monday.
According to him, the committee is not complete without a technical person who will also contribute to appointing a new coach for the senior national team.
Speaking in an interview on Wamputu Sports, the former Ghana International asked why only football administrators were named on the committee without any technical person.
“Football is technical work and not paperwork. The mental state of a technical person is different from that of an administrator. A technical man must be on that committee. It would make the committee complete”, he told Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9 FM.
“If they have appointed a technical man to head our GFA why can’t he be on the committee? Is it because they don’t trust him. That is his job to assess the national team and offer advice to the national team.
“If he is incompetent then what is his business at the GFA”, he added.
The Committee has been mandated to appoint a new coach in the next 72 hours.
