The Coalition of Unemployed Allied Health Professionals earlier today September 16, 2024 presented a petition to the Ministry of Health over government’s failure to post its members.

Speaking to Happy Kasiebo, the Coalition’s Convenor Frederick Adjei, explained that they are giving government a one week Ultimatum to give clearance for their employment.

The affected year groups include Allied Health Professionals from 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

They have therefore demanded for “ immediate employment opportunity, transparent recruitment processes as well as increased funding for health care staffing and infrastructure.

The group says ,” if we do not hear anything we will come back again but this time with a serious demonstration”.

“ it is imperative for the government to acknowledge the predicament of trained Allied Health Professionals who are being compelled to remain at home, renew their Pins annually without being posted”.

“ we are talking about 2,000 Allied health professionals who completed from 2019 and still unemployed “.
