It’s another weekend in the Ghana Premier League and news of another violence at a league centre has been recorded.
In a highly anticipated clash, Bofoakwa Tano and Nsoatreman FC locked horns at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Sunday.
Despite creating scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net as the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw.
According to Nsoatreman FC on their social media pages , supporters of Bofoakwa Tano exhibited an unsporting behavior during the game, beating match officials, players of Nsoatreman FC, and coach Maxwell Konadu.
The former Asante Kotoko coach was hurt and has therefore been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The main entrance of the stadium was locked by the fans and match officials had to lock themselves in a room.
Nsoatreman FC are second on the Ghana Premier League table with 20 points whiles Bofoakwa Tano sit 5th spot with 16 points after 11 games.
