The Chief of Gbetsile Nii Kojo Teye Amankwa Sune I called on the government to help with the completion of abandoned projects in the district.
According to him, projects such as a fire station, a hospital and a court started by the previous government is long overdue for completion.
He stated the area is growing at a fast pace and these facilities are needed to cater for the needs of the people.
“These projects started are long overdue for completion. Gbetsile is developing so fast and need these facilities to cater to the people’s needs” he said.
Nii Kojo Teye furthered Gbetsile has only one government school that has no adequate classroom blocks and accommodates about 80 pupils in a class which makes teaching and learning difficult.
He noted the stool has made lands available and has called on individuals and government to help build more schools to remedy the situation.
Meanwhile, the annual thanksgiving service of the stool is slated for 9th February 2020. The aim is to unite the people and to bring peace to the people of Gbetsile.
