Ghanaian chef and fast rising socialite, Faila Abdul-Razak has ended her attempt to break the Guinness World Record’s(GWR) record for longest cooking marathon(individual) on Wednesday, January 10,2023.

The attempt which was initially submitted as a five day cooking marathon, from Monday January 1, 2023 to Friday, January 5, 2023, has gone beyond the submitted period for the attempt.

Over the past few days many Ghanaians in and outside Ghana trouped in to support Chef Faila, which has been her source of motivation to go beyond the five day threshold.

However, Chef Faila was prompted by her team after 200 hours of cooking to finally draw the curtains for the cooking marathon.

Husband of the socialite, speaking to news sources disclosed that despite the energy and strength that Faila has she must end her attempt. “She is willing to continue; the medical team is saying she is okay but the team including myself believe that enough is enough; she is not happy about it but this is the decision we have taken.”

Faila Abdul-Razak officilally ended the cooking marathon attempt at the 227th hour, at exactly 10:00AM earlier today.
