Black Galaxies coach Annor Walker has admitted to facing selection headache in naming his final squad ahead of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) which kicks off next month.
Ghana will be returning to the tournament after missing out on the last three editions.
The Black Galaxies have been preparing ahead of the tournament for the past few weeks at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram.
Coach Annor Walker and his team have played two friendlies against Premier League sides Hearts of Oak and Legon Cities, winning both games as part of preparations to select his final squad for the tournament.
Coach Annor Walker has admitted to having problems in selecting on his final squad for the tournament due to the performances of the players in camp.
“I’m having headache. I invited them here and I am watching all of them so at the end of it all I will come out with my final list. It’s not easy but very soon we will come out with our final squad,” he said in an interview with the GFA.
Ghana are in Group C with defending champions Morocco, Madagascar, and Sudan.
The Black Galaxies begin their campaign against Madagascar on January 15, 2023.
The team is expected to go on a training tour in Egypt before departing to Algeria for the tournament.
