Red Star Belgrade striker, Richmond Boakye is confident his side can revenge the first leg defeat against Tottenham in the UEFA Champions League.
The 26-year old did not feature in the first leg which his side lost 5-0 a fort night ago at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium.
Boakye returned from injury to score a goal in Red Star Belgrade’s league game on Saturday against Proleter which they won 2-0.
Speaking ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League game against Tottenham he said,“Our home form and results are proving to be our strength and character and our fans are a major key to formidable home wins.
“Last season (in the Champions League), no one gave us a dog’s chance against Liverpool but we managed to beat them. Tottenham are not as fearsome as Liverpool and they are beatable.”
The Ghanaian striker will hoping to get a goal should he get the chance to play in tonight’s game.
He scored in his team’s 2-1 win over Olympiacos on match day 2.
