Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, widely known as Chairman COKA, has urged members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to remain resilient and united in the wake of the party’s defeat in the 2024 general elections.

Speaking in a media interview, Chairman COKA assured supporters that the current challenges are temporary, expressing confidence in the party’s ability to make a strong comeback in 2028.

He encouraged NPP members to use the Christmas season as an opportunity to spend time with their families and loved ones, reflecting on the past and recharging for the future.

“Everything happens for a reason, and we see this as a blessing in disguise. Nobody should lose hope. God is preparing us for a greater miracle in 2028”, he said

In the 2024 elections, Former President John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) won the presidency with 56.56% of the vote, defeating the NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who secured 41.61%. The NDC also claimed a parliamentary majority, marking Mahama’s return to power.

Chairman COKA’s message of hope is intended to inspire party members to remain optimistic and steadfast despite the setback.
