The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has rescheduled its meeting with the National Council for tomorrow, July 26, 2024, at 9 a.m.
The meeting, originally planned for Thursday, July 25, aimed to decide whether to end the ongoing strike.
This follows recent talks between CETAG and government, which comes after the strike has continued for over a month.
The strike was initiated due to government’s non-implementation of the National Labour Commission’s Arbitral Award Orders, intended to improve teachers’ working conditions.
