The Court for Abitration for Sports (CAS) has given a stay of execution for some players to have been banned in the match-fixing scandal involving Ashantigold and Inter Allies by the Ghana Football Association.
A total of twenty-one (21) footballers were slapped with bans by the GFA after they were found guilty in the match fixing scandal.
The GFA Appeals Committee upheld the decision from the Discplinary Committee on the ban imposed on the players.
After the matter taken to CAS for a further appeal, the highest judiciary body in football, has temporally lifted the ban on the 21 players until the finality of the matter.
