
Asante Kotoko have left the shores of Ghana to Mauritania ahead of their CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg game against Mauritania side Nouadhibou FC.
Kotoko departed the Kotoka Airport with a chartered flight to Mauritania for the crucial game earlier today.
The Porcupine Warriors will take on Nouadhibou FC for the first tie of the Champions League prelims before the reverse fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana.
21 players made the trip with goalkeeper Razak Abalora joining the team after recovery from coronavirus.
