Information reaching Happy Sports indicates that Asante Kotoko players have boycotted training over unpaid per diems ahead of the first round CAF Champions League second leg game against Al Hilal on Wednesday.
The team arrived in Omdurman on Monday and were supposed to train this morning ahead of the game.
The playing body after a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah boycotted the training session as they demanded for their unpaid bonuses and pier diem.
Happy Sports understands that the players were promised they will be paid their monies but they were not convinced and did not train.
Meanwhile Al Hilal have been promised a fat winning bonus if they are able to beat Asante Kotoko.
