Two people have been reported dead after mysterious insects bite at Agona Amponsah and it’s environs in the Agona West Municipality of the Central Region.

Residents of Agona Amponsah and its environs are gripped with fear, preventing them from going to their farms over the fear of being bitten by the said insects.

The mysterious insects, residents suspect, are mosquitoes responsible for the Dengue fever outbreak.

The residents claimed they feel cold immediately after being bitten by the insects.

People in the community who spoke to the media say they don’t know where these mysterious insects come from because they normally attack early mornings and evenings around 5:30pm.

The residents are calling on authorities to find solutions to the problem and fumigate the entire area.
