Ghanaian boxer, Brimah ‘Bukom Banku’ Kamoko has been granted bail, Happyghana.com can confirm.
On Monday, Happyghana.com revealed that the cruiserweight boxer has been accused of assaulting government official during an ‘Easter Monday Party’ in James Town.
Following the assault, the Assemblyman with the name Zaid made a complaint at the James Town Police Station on Tuesday.
The Station Officer at James Town Police Station then dispatched his boys to Bukom and the tough talking boxer was arrested.
According to our sources, Bukom Banku has been granted bail.
Bukom Banku has been one of the most controversial sports personalities in Ghana.
His unbeaten record came to an end last October when he was stopped in round seven by former Olympian Bastie Samr at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
