Kurt Okraku has secured a second term as the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) after running unopposed in the 2023 Elective Congress held at the Global Dream Hotel in Tamale.

Out of 120 members present, 119 votes were cast.

George Afriyie, initially a contender for the position, was disqualified by the Elections Committee of the GFA. Of the 119 delegates present at the Congress, a resounding 117 delegates voted in favor of retaining Mr. Okraku, who is also the owner of Dreams FC. Only two delegates cast dissenting votes, while another abstained from the election.
Simultaneously, the process to elect members of the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association is currently underway.
