Employer of Ace Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Kweku Baako has said in an interview that an official of the Ghana Football Association tried to stop Anas from showing his exposé that will name and shame some sports personalities and politicians in Ghana by attempting to bribe him.
Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana Mr. Baako said a GFA official gave money to a prominent lawyer close to Anas to bribe the ace investigative journalist.
“Did you know that GFA officials tempted to bribe Anas?” he questioned the host.
“When the GFA officials find out that Anas is on the verge of releasing such piece, they gave money to a certain lawyer who is close to Anas to prevent him from releasing the video, but the lawyer was scared and sent the money back to the GFA and told them he is afraid of Anas, they know what I am saying is the truth.”
He added “the guy is a prominent lawyer, but what I want to tell the public is that nobody can tell what Anas should do, should he come out with his work.”
Already Information of the documentary’s release have emerged on fliers and billboards, signifying it will be premiered in Accra on June 6, 2018, at the Accra International Conference Centre. The video is produced by Anas and his undercover Tiger Eye PI team.
The new investigative film is dubbed ‘Number 12′.
