Bofoakwa Tano FC found itself in hot water as the Ghana Football Association (GFA) imposed a temporary ban on the team’s use of the Sunyani Coronation Park following an assault on Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu.
The ban, per Article 14(2) of the Premier League Regulations, was a response to the alarming incidents that occurred after the Match Day 11 clash between Bofoakwa Tano FC and Nsoatreman FC on November 19, 2023.
Despite the ban, Bofoakwa Tano FC swiftly adapted to the situation and is set to move to the Dr. Kwame KYEI Sports Complex for upcoming home matches, HappySports can exclusively confirm.
This shift is in anticipation of the team’s GPL Match Day 13 fixture against Samartex, scheduled for Sunday.
They are currently without a head coach after the termination of coach Frimpong Manso last month. They lay 3rd on the League log with 20 Points.
