Black Queens defender, Blessing Shine Agbomadzi has joined Israeli women’s football side Hapoel Be’er Sheva football WFC club on a two-year deal.
The 19-year old player joins the Israeli side from Elmina based Sea Lions FC.
According to the Black Queens defender, she has been waiting on the Lord for such an opportunity.
“I thank God for this wonderful opportunity because I was not expecting to get it at this moment. Sometime back, I had a lot of similar offers but due to some reasons, it didn’t materialize but for this one, God has really done it for me and I am excited, thankful and grateful for this deal “-she revealed.
“This offer means a lot to me and I will make it count. I will do my best and everything possible to achieve my goal and targets in life. My target is higher than this place so I will give it my best and I know this place is just a stepping stone for me and I know I will get there”.
Hapoel Be’er Sheva Football WFC Club plays in the Israeli Women Premier League and the Israeli Women’s Cup.
The club was established in 2000 and entered the premier league, where the club had played until relegating at the end of the 2009–10 season.
The club bounced straight back to the first division, winning the second division in its first attempt.
In the cup, the club reached the semi-finals seven times, most recently in 2017–18. The club also competed in the Second Division League Cup and won the cup in 2011.
