The senior Women’s team, the Black Queens beat Gabon 3-0 in the first leg of the CAF Women’s Olympic Qualifiers played at the Stade Augustin Monédon de Libreville.
Prison Ladies midfielder, Elizabeth Owusuaa in the 44th minute of the game gave the Black Queens the lead just before the first half whistle.
Captain of the Black Queens, Portia Boakye netted the second goal for GHANA in the 60th minute before Spanish Liga Iberdrola side Rayo Vallecano central midfielder, Priscilla Okyere made it 3:0 to give the Queens a secured victory ahead of the 2nd leg to be played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Tuesday, 3rd September.
