The Chairman of the Black Galaxies management committee, Dr Tony Aubynn, has confirmed that the team will be participating in a four-nation tournament in Austria.
The tournament according to him will serve as preparations ahead of the final round of qualifiers against Nigeria which comes off later this month.
Ghana will face host Qatar, Morocco and Jamaica in the four-nation tournament.
Speaking in an interview on Wamputu Sports on Happy FM on preparations ahead of the Nigeria game and the tournament, he said, “Before we were to embark on our journey to Benin, the FA informed the team that if they are able to eliminate Benin, they will go for the four-nation tournament in Austria which Ghana has been invited.
“This will really help the team to prepare ahead of the Nigeria. After the tournament in Austria the team will move to camping to face Nigeria”.
“Currently it is summer in Europe and the weather is not bad, so I don’t think it will be a challenge”, he added.
