Head Coach of Ghana’s Black Galaxies, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has named a 32-man squad to begin preparations for Ghana’s crucial 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria. The team will assemble at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram for an intensive training camp starting Monday, November 25, 2024.
The camp will focus on tactical drills, fitness sessions, and training matches as the Black Galaxies gear up for the high-stakes two-legged tie in December. Following two weeks of training, the team will temporarily break camp from December 5 to accommodate the National Elections. The squad will reconvene on December 8 to finalize preparations.
Ghana will host the first leg of the qualifier on Saturday, December 21, 2024, before traveling for the return leg, scheduled between December 27-29, 2024. This fixture comes with high stakes, as Coach Dramani’s side aims to replicate Ghana’s victory over Nigeria in the 2023 CHAN qualifiers and secure a spot in the 2025 tournament set to be co-hosted by Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.
