Bernard Oduro Takyi partners AFSIC to finance projects in Africa

Young Ghanaian entrepreneur, Bernard Oduro Takyi (BOT) has been named collaborator by Africa Investment Conference (AFSIC) in their efforts to support African businesses.

This financing partnership will see the entrepreneur work closely with AFSIC for the next two years in identifying and financing projects on the African continent.

The founder of Omanbapa Ghana Ltd also serves as the Regional Coordinator of the Commonwealth Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs-West Africa in charge of Ghana, Gambia, Nigeria Cameron and Sierra Leone for promoting youth Entrepreneurship was among the few young business Executives who spoke at the high plenary session of AFSIC2021 at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel, London, the UK dated October 11-12, 2021.

The leader of a delegation of 21 young entrepreneurs from the Commonwealth of West Africa to the event spoke on the need to attract financial investments into the agricultural sector of Africa which is the mainstay of most African economies.

The proud Ghanaian took time to throw more lights on the government’s Planting for Food and Jobs, Planting for Export, and the One District One Factory initiatives. Excellent conduits for Foreign Direct Investments he described them.

Equally, Bernard Oduro Takyi (BOT) also had the opportunity of joining Jobs for Economic Transformation in Ghana (JET) investment session as a representative of private sector Agribusinesses, a program funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO).

AFSIC is Africa’s Leading Global Investment Event that is attended by over 40 countries. AFSIC has become one of the most important conduits of investment into Africa.

AFSIC is entirely focused on bringing together Africa’s business leaders, government officials as well as Africa’s most promising investment opportunities with the continent’s most important investors and dealmakers to facilitate new investments into Africa.
