Kumawood movie star and musician, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin has stated that movie stars need be careful in the movie industry.
Lilwin made this revelation in an interview with DJ Advicer on the ‘Ayekoo’ After Drive show, on Happy 98.9 FM.
According to him, movie stars should be humble and go according to their director’s instruction and be careful when dealing with their directors.
“Whether you are good or bad, all I need from you when we are acting is for you to understand me,” he said.
The ‘Fa Wo Ladder’ hit maker said “acting is not an easy thing to do.You always have to work hard to get to the top. No one sees you when you are suffering but when you get to the topmost, then they will start talking positive about you”
When asked if they are given script on set, he said…
“If we don’t go according to the script how can we shot movies”.
He added Ghanaians are pretenders, “they pretend not to watch our local movies when asked but when they are in their various homes they do watch them.”
“Ghanaian stars have to be humble especially when they are being directed on set,” he advised.
Lilwin is currently promoting his new single titled ‘Anointing oil’ which features the Angela hit maker ‘Kuami Eugene.
