Report reaching us has it that commercial motorcyclists, popularly known as Okada, and operatives of the Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday clash in the popular Iyana-Ipaja bus stop, Lagos.
It was gathered that the policemen firing at the hoodlums, who retaliated with stones and other dangerous weapons.
The clash is connected to the recent ban on Okada from highways in some parts of Lagos.
Recall that the ban on Okada and Keke Napep took effect from Saturday, February 1, 2020.
The ban also affected Oride, Gokada and other motorcycle hailing services.

The Lagos State govt stated that Apapa, Yaba, Surulere, Ikeja, Lagos Island, Ikoyi Obalende, Lagos Mainland, Itire-Ikate and Coker-Aguda would be affected by the ban.
As a result of the ban, Okada riders on Monday clashed with operatives of the Nigeria Police in Lagos State.
The Okada riders had gone on a rampage and begun to smash vehicles and block roads, in reaction to the ban on their activities.
According to an eyewitness, motorcycle riders and the Police clashed in Apapa and Surulere areas of the state.
