A 21-year-old lady has named her son after Happy FM and its presenter Nyansa Boakwa after the father of the baby boy rejected the pregnancy.
This act was a form of appreciation to the station and its presenter for bailing her out of dire distress after giving birth.
Barely three months ago, the young lady stormed the studio of Happy FM in tears asking for help to arrest a young man who had rejected her after impregnating her.
The lady was 12 months pregnant and doctors indicated that she had tampered with the pregnancy hence the delay.
A week after her visit to Happy FM, she was admitted at the hospital and was operated on where she delivered a bouncy baby boy.
However, she was detained at the hospital until she settled her bills.
When the message got to Happy FM, the host of Ghana’s number one social intervention radio program’Nsem Pii’, Pastor Nyansa Boakwa called on listeners to solicit for support and was to raise Ghc 2200 and other items for the new born baby.
The single mother, in appreciation, named the boy ‘Nyansa Happy’ on air.
Nsem Pii is highly noted for such social intervention programs.
