Ghanaian gospel musician, Abena Amponsah, who was silent for some time in the music industry, has stated that she used to he a serious wee smoker.
In an interview with Pastor Nyansa Boakwa on Happy FM’s ‘Nsem Pii’ program, she revealed that she was a serious wee smoker and alcoholic.
“ I used to drink alcohol and smoke heavy rolls of wee, ”she said.
According to the ‘Woye Mame’ hit maker she was kicked out of her parents house by her mother at a very young age and she got herself involved with the wrong company who introduce her to smoking of weed and drinking alcohol.
According to her, she literally became more like a junky .
She explained to Pastor Nyansa that what she went through and God still touched her and gave her a gift, is the more reason why all her songs are to worship and praise God.
