Some months ago, a newly wedded couple came into the Happy FM studio during the ‘Nsem Pii’ Program with Pastor Nyansa Boakwa saying that their first son was born with no hole in his manhood.
According to Samuel Mensah, father of the boy, when the child was born, he had already been circumcised. This came as a shock to the midwives who were supposed to circumcise the boy.
He narrated that his son was taken to several doctors to find out the cause of the problem. After several tests, they discovered that the boy had no hole in his manhood.
The parents appealed to the listeners of ‘Nsem Pii’ and Happy FM for support to help perform surgery on their son .
Happy FM, through its social intervention program ‘Nsem Pii’, raised funds for the surgery of the boy. The station made the first payment of GHS 2,500 for the surgery of little Joel on February 18.
“On February 18, 2019, an amount of GHS 2,500 was paid to me from Happy FM for the care and preparation for surgery of Joel, ” Doctor William Appeadu Mensah confirmed.
The surgery of the little boy is schedule to take place on the 3rd of April after the final test on April 1st.
