Attorney General urges Ghanaians to embrace the spirit of peace and unity

Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame has urged Ghanaians to embrace the spirit of peace and unity that Christmas symbolizes, calling on citizens to reflect on the shared values that unite the nation.

Addressing the importance of peace following the 2024 General Elections, Mr. Dame highlighted Ghana’s progress in sustaining a stable democracy. While acknowledging that elections have been largely peaceful, he noted that isolated incidents of violence still occur and must be addressed.

Reflecting on Ghana’s democratic journey, the Attorney General expressed pride in the nation’s achievements and encouraged citizens to treasure the stability that democracy brings, describing it as a valuable legacy for future generations.
