Atta Mills and Mahama chose not to live in the Jubilee House because it’s near Nima Zongo – NAPO

Vice presidential Candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh has claimed that former presidents Atta-Mills and John Mahama didn’t have the best interest of Zongo communities at heart.

According to NAPO as he is affectionately called, both John Dramani Mahama and his boss, the late John Atta-Mills decided not to live in the Jubilee House because it is close to the Nima Zongo.

NAPO claimed that despite the NDC getting a chunk of their votes from Zongo communities, their issues are not of paramount interest to the leading opposition party and John Dramani Mahama.

“When president Kufuor built the Jubilee House for all presidents and Atta Mills and John Mahama came, they said they said Jubilee House if near Nima Zongo so they won’t live there,”

“So 8 years they never lived in Jubilee House because it is closer to Nima and its made up of Zongo people meanwhile they vote highest for the NDC,” NAPO said in a viral audio on social Media.

Meanwhile then president John Dramani Mahama on Thursday, February 7, 2013 moved the presidency from the Osu Castle to the Flagstaff House now called the Jubilee House.
