An interlocutory injunction from the High Court of Justice Human Rights Division has been placed on the Ghana Premier League by Dr Kwaku Frimpong restraining the Ghana Football Association from commencing the 2022/23 season.
The Obuasi based-club delivered an injunction letter to the Ghana Football Association General Secretary in protest against the decision of the GFA’s Disciplinary committee to demote the team to division two after their involvement in the match-fixing scandal.
In a letter sighted by Happy Sports confirms the injunction placed on the new season.
The Ghana Premier League is scheduled to start on September 10, 2022.
