The Ashanti Regional Security Council (ARSC) has issued a stern warning to residents of Kumasi and surrounding areas, urging them to refrain from engaging the services of land guards to resolve land disputes.

This directive comes amidst growing concerns over the escalating illegal activities and violence perpetrated by land guards in the region, which has sparked fears for public safety and security.

The Council has released a statement, cautioning that anyone found to be engaging the services of land guards will face the full force of the law, including arrest, prosecution, and court proceedings, emphasizing its commitment to maintaining law and order in the region.

The Council emphasized that land guards will not be exempt from accountability, declaring that they too will be held liable and subjected to the same legal consequences as their employers, facing the full force of the law, including arrest, prosecution, and court proceedings, in a bid to curb the illegal activities and maintain order in the region.

The Council appealed to the public to adhere to the directive and cooperate in maintaining peace and stability in the region, emphasizing the importance of collective responsibility in preventing the activities of land guards and promoting a safe and secure environment for all.
