Happy Sports can exclusively reports that five Ivorian players are currently in Kumasi to finalize a transfer to Asante Kotoko.

The five players whose names have been withheld will be the new signings of the club after coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum sanctioned the release of 19 players who had running contracts with the players.

The Ivorian players will train with the technical handlers of the club for further assessment before they can be officially confirmed as players of Asante Kotoko.

The players if confirmed will feature for Asante Kotoko in the 2024 Democracy Cup against rivals Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, July 5.
