Asante Kotoko has reorganized its Interim Management Committee (IMC) following directives from His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Manhyia Palace.
In a statement, the club confirmed that Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum would step down from the IMC to concentrate fully on his role as Head Coach.
“This decision allows Dr. Ogum to dedicate his full attention to his core responsibilities as Head Coach, ensuring leadership in driving on-field success and advancing the club’s sporting objectives,” the statement read.
The adjustment aligns with efforts to streamline the club’s operations and adhere to the vision set by Manhyia Palace. The IMC will continue focusing on strengthening administrative processes and supporting both the playing and technical teams.
The club also thanked its fans for their support during this transitional period, emphasizing its commitment to long-term success.
The restructuring comes as Kotoko seeks stability, following a challenging spell that included four consecutive losses before their recent 2-0 victory over Aduana Stars on matchday 11 of the Premier League season.
