Asante Kotoko and Kariobangi have sealed deals with Chinese Pay-TV Startimes to have the home matches of their CAF Confederation Cup first qualifying round broadcast live.
This means Saturday’s first leg at the Kasarani Stadium starting 3.00pm ( 1pm GMT) will be live on TV across Africa.
Kotoko will host the Kenyan side at the Baba Yara Stadium on 21 December
”All parties, including crew who will produce the game, have agreed and everything is set to have fans across Africa especially from Kenya and Ghana enjoy the game on TV,” a close source told Kahawa Tungu.
Kariobangi Sharks and Kotoko took advantage of the CAF policy which allows host clubs to cash in on the broadcast rights before the Group stage.
