Producer, songwriter and singer Akwaboah Jnr. says musicians who cannot write their own songs should not be ashamed.

In an interview with Rev Erskine on Yfm’s Myd Morning Radio Show he stated that,
“There is nothing wrong with you not being able to write a song.”

He however added that song writers like himself exist to help those who cannot write their music. “I love writing and I still write for other people.”

According to him he did not know he could write until he wrote a song for Becca

“I didn’t do it for the money initially but now, I know the business part of music”, he said.

Akwaboah wrote “Daa Ke Daa” for Becca and “Ayeyi Ndwom for Kofi Sarpong.
