Aqua Blue and Ghana Football Association seal year-long partnership

Akoa Beverages Limited, the makers of “Aqua Blue” mineral water, have inked a significant one-year partnership deal with the Ghana Football Association(GFA), becoming the Association’s official water partner. The official launch of this collaboration took place today, 9 November 2023 at the GFA secretariat, marking a momentous occasion for both entities.

Shadrack Akoenyenu, CEO of Akoa Beverages Limited, expressed his pride and excitement during the launch, stating, “This is truly a moment of pride and honor, and we are thrilled to share the excitement of our collaboration with the GFA. We believe this partnership is not just about providing refreshment but also about forming a sense of unity through the beautiful game of football. Our commitment to excellence, safety, and quality is our topmost priority. Aqua Blue is not just water; it is a symbol of purity and quality.”

Kurt E.S Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association, echoed the enthusiasm, emphasizing the practical impact of the partnership. “I am very excited about this partnership because many do not know the quantum of money the FA spends on the purchase of water for all our staff and our 12 national teams. Our footballers, both boys and girls, need water, and if they do not have enough water, they can’t give us the highest performances we demand of them; so this is very important.”

This collaboration not only signifies a business partnership but also highlights the shared commitment to excellence and the crucial role water plays in sustaining peak athletic performance. As Aqua Blue becomes the official hydration partner, it aims to contribute to the success and well-being of the Ghanaian football community.
