Ampem Darkoa Ladies to face AS Garde Nationale & Amis Du Monde in CAF Women's CL qualifiers Wafu Zone B

The stage is set for an exhilarating showdown in the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League following the draw that took place in Abidjan, Ivory Coast on October 9.

Ghana’s pride and representative, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, have landed in Group B and are poised to take on formidable opponents, including Moroccan powerhouse AS FAR, alongside AS Mande from Mali, and Equatorial Guinea’s Huracanes.

Here are the Group A and Group B matchups:

Group A:

  • Athletico FC (CIV)
  • SC Casablanca (MAR)
  • JKT Queens (TAN)
  • Mamelodi Sundowns (RSA)

Group B:

  • ASFAR FC (MAR)
  • Ampem Darkoa (GHA)
  • Huracanes (EQG)
  • AS Mande (MAL)

The 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League, in its third edition, promises fierce competition as the best women’s association football clubs from across Africa vie for glory. Notably, the victors of this tournament will secure an automatic spot in the subsequent edition.

With the whole nation rallying behind them, Ampem Darkoa Ladies carry the hopes of Ghana on their shoulders, aspiring to make their country proud on the grand stage of this prestigious competition.
