Minority Leader, Ato Forson denies plea bargain rumours in ambulance case, calls them baseless and malicious

Minority leader, Cassiel Ato Baah Forson has announced the decision of the entire minority caucus to escort James Gyakye Quayson through all court proceedings.

He made this known in parliament where he stated, “I wish to serve notice that the entire minority group, will accompany our colleague to court today and any other day that he is to appear in court.”

On each day when Gyakye Quayson is summoned to appear in court, Dr. Forson reiterated the group’s willing absence from all Parliamentary affairs in support of their colleague.

“We will not participate in the business of the house anytime our colleague is in court and we would be withdrawing from the chamber after this ceremony if the court processes indeed happens today.” he noted.

The just sworn-in Member of Parliament for the Assin North constituency who faces charges of perjury and deceiving a public officer recently filed an appeal at the Court of Appeal challenging the daily trial order made by High Court judge, Mary Yanzuh.
