President Akufo – Addo is expected to chair and honour some outstanding nominees at the National Honours and Awards Ceremony today Monday December 30, 2024.
The National Honours and Awards ceremony is expected to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre, the venue for the investiture where guest are expected to dress in their traditional attire to reflect the country’s rich cultural heritage.
The National Honours and Awards ceremony is an event to celebrate the achievements of individuals who have ensured value of collective national pride and cultural identity.
The awards ceremony is also to celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals who have made selfless contributions to the development of the country.
These individuals who have been nominated would receive awards in the following categories
1. Order of the Star and Eagles of Ghana
2. Order of the Star Ghana
3. Order of the Volta
4. The Medal for Gallantry
5. The Grand Medal
