Founding member of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Akwasi Addai Odike, says President Akufo-Addo keeps reassuring Ghanaians when he should be taking active measures to resolve Ghana’s economic condition.
According to him, the President may have forgetter himself and if living in the past as presidential candidate, instead of acting as a president.
Reacting to the President’s recent address in an interview with Don Kwabena Prah on Happy98.9FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ political talk show, he said;
“I would’ve preferred for the president to have not spoken at all because his speech proposed no solutions to our economic woes.
Akiri-Addo is still leaving in the past. He’s acting as if he’s still a presidential candidate. In his address to the nation, he kept saying we should trust him but for how long?”
Odike described the speech of the president as simply a lamentation, with the president and his government doing the same things over and over again, expecting different results.
The businessman insists truly, there is no end in sight to Ghana’s problems.
President Of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Sunday, 30th October 2022 addressed the nation on the economy.
