Akosombo Textiles (ATL), one of Ghana’s leading textile manufacturing companies has announced its participation in the 15th Edition of the Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding, as a fabric sponsor. The event is slated for 14 February, 2021.

Marketing Manager of Akosombo Textiles, Samuel Hemans-Arday, speaking in an interview on the ‘Happy Fm Morning show’ hosted by Samuel Eshun shared that, ATL values the role the wearing of print fabric has within the celebration of culture in the Ghanaian society. Thus, the company continues to invest greatly in developing and producing very rich quality fabric for various occasions, in line with keeping its promise to consumers.

“We are promoting and celebrating made in Ghana fabric and to exhibit our rich culture. Marriage ceremonies are a great opportunity for us to showcase our culture and we are excited to be part of this year’s Happy FM Mass Wedding”, Mr. Hemans-Arday indicated.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the event will be held in a scaled down manner but organizers have given the full assurance that all couples still have a memorable event albeit under strict COVID-19 protocols.

Established in 1967, Akosombo Textiles Ltd. (now Akosombo Industrial Company Limited – AICL) began the modern textile industry in Ghana.
