Bullet member of Music group Ruff N Smooth and manager of the sexy Dance hall artiste Ebony, has revealed that ”Mugu” hitmaker Akoo Nana is fake and he still owes him.
Speaking on Happy FM’s Ayekoo with DJ Advicer, Bullet said:
”Akoo Nana is owing me one thousand Ghana cedis. I wrote his first hit song ”Mugu” for him and he has still not even paid so he should stop blowing his horns and insulting people in the music industry, blaming them that the industry is not improving. If he is to pay me, the industry will move on, he is fake.”
The musician further disclosed that being a song writer in Ghana doesn’t pay.
”Being a music writer in Ghana is not easy at all and it doesn’t make sense because I have a friend in Sweden and he is a song writer who wrote ”It’s my life” and many other songs and he receives over 500,000 US dollars every year as his royalties. He just sleeps and he is making money, but here, they don’t even respect song writers but song writing is the greatest gift ever. They make money even more than the artistes but just that in our side of the world it turns out to be different.”
