Director of Special Duties of Movement for Change, Hopeson Adorye has revealed that the controversial Agyapadie document or book is more tribal than politics.
According to him, he made the same “tribal than politics” statement in 2022 over the Agyapadie book and wanted the NPP to take it serious and investigate but nobody took him serious.
In an interview with Bismark Brown on EPa hoa Daben show on Happy 98.9 FM, Hopeson Adorye emphatically said the controversy surrounding the Agyapadie document in has nothing to do with Politics but they did not understand him.
Supporting his claims on the statement made on Agyapadie document, he quoted some portions of the document which states, ” As the heads of Nana Apianim Kwamframa, Nana Kuntunkununku and Ofori Panin, our people were never defeated in the wars of old, we were nobody’s subjects and yet after 1957 we were made to live in the shadows of a descendants of people who never defeated us in the war whilst the Ashanti Kingdom was uplifted to put us in the shade”.
He said “the portion i quoted has nothing to do with Politics or NPP but it’s a family agenda to maneuver their way to the top because the family members involved are in the NPP” he emphasized.
