The Western North Regional Minister, Willbert Petty Brentum, has issued a stern warning to contractors working on the Agenda 111 Hospital project to desist from removing construction materials from the sites.
According to him, reports suggest that some contractors, possibly due to delayed payments, have been taking materials intended for the project.
While Mr. Brentum acknowledged the financial challenges faced by these contractors, he stressed that such actions are unlawful and urged them to approach his office to address their concerns.
He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to resolving the payment issues and ensuring the timely completion of the hospitals.
The Minister made these statements during a visit to Adabokrom in the Bia East District, where local leaders appealed for the project’s expedited completion.
Mr. Brentum encouraged patience, reaffirming the government’s dedication to resuming work on the sites promptly.
The Agenda 111 project started by the NPP administration benefited three districts in the Western North Region, namely Bodi, Suaman Dadieso and Bia East but none of them is fully completed.
